Supporting Carer’s Trust ~ Xmas25

2025’s Giving Tuesday’s charity sessions in w/c Monday 1st December will be in aid of Carer’s Trust.

All profits from this week will be donated and I’ll also be asking for any £ uplift you would be able to give.

Why have I chosen this charity?

Carers Trust ensures carers are supported and that young carers have time to be children. So let’s help some young people feel seen, valued and free to enjoy some ‘me time’.

Last Christmas, a single ticket changed Penelope’s world.

She’s just seven, and already helps care for her two sisters, both with autism and additional needs. Life at home is intense – her Lego gets broken, her crafts torn apart. She rarely gets time for herself.

But last December, Penelope came to her first Christmas pantomime with other young carers. It was her first outing of this kind. At first, she was quiet and unsure. By the final act, she was clapping, laughing, and shouting “Ohhh yes you do!” with joy.

That one outing gave her confidence, new friends, and a reason to keep coming back. Today, she’s a regular at her young carers’ group – chatty, happy, and thriving.
